This Beloit, Wisconsin homeowner wanted to replace some old asbestos siding and an old roof. Removing old asbestos siding is problematic and expensive. It is usually better to leave it in place and put new insulation and siding over it. Which is what we did here, with quarter-inch insulation going on over the top of the old siding and double four Mystic Blue vinyl siding from Charter Oak over the insulation. We also built out the window and door frames and rewrapped them.
